Advanced occlusion

Cours IV – Master Dr Alain Aubé

Profile

Patients with complex occlusions are often of greater challenge. Most generalists want to refer these cases to an orthodontist. However, a multidisciplinary approach is a better one.

Objectives

The purpose of this training is to provide the necessary tools to develop an effective and comprehensive care plan.

Content

We’ll learn how to use: equilibration, ortho, surgery, restoration and substitutes to meet the 5 criteria for a stable occlusion. We’ll learn how to fix: cross bites, anterior and posterior open bites, misaligned arches, severe crowding, severe overbites and severe overjets.
